The internship with Blackmore Partners was a invaluable one and I developed professional skill sets that were immensely useful to me. I was exposed to business deal activities and was responsible for several high level initiative during my time with Blackmore Partners. “I came to meet Gerald through Linkedin in response to a recruitment of CEO types. Through my experience with Gerald, and his partners, I have been very pleased with the service Blackmore Partners provides.
After several phone meetings I was invited to Chicago for a live meeting with Gerald and Alex Walker. After that meeting we began in earnest identifying a market, then targets in that market. The research and guidance provided by Gerald and his team has been outstanding. To this point we've identified 6 targets and I've made 4 site visits.
Within the next month I anticipate being in a position to make a legitimate offer, backed by private equity the Blackmore Team brought to the table. And, by the end of the year I anticipate running one of these targets as it's CEO.
For the past four months I have worked with Gerald and numerous Blackmore team members. I can honestly recommend them without reservation at this point. Their commitment to my success has been unwavering.” September 10, 2008

“I participated in the Blackmore Partners Internship program over the summer of 2008. The training that I received from the internship, and Gerald directly, has proven to be an excellent experience that has given me significant leverage as I prepare to finish college and enter the workforce full-time.
The combination of structure and freedom really allowed the interns to be comfortable in bringing different ideas to the table, a quality not available in most internships. The environment was such that no one was afraid to make a mistake or ask questions, a trait that ultimately allowed us to learn more than would normally be possible. More importantly, Gerald taught us to step outside the box in regards to our way of approaching business and life, something that has proven beneficial to me numerous times only a month out of my internship.
I would recommend this internship to any student who wants hands-on experience in business and is willing to work hard to reach their goals.” September 3, 2008
